What Klyo is
Klyo is an artificial intelligence. It uses a large language model (currently Claude, developed by Anthropic) together with professional astrological computation to generate its responses in real time. Klyo is not a human, not a licensed astrologer, and not a therapist or counselor.
How responses are generated
Each reply is generated by sending your birth chart, the current planetary transits, relevant notes Klyo has kept from your past conversations, and your recent message history to the language model. Responses are generated live; no human reviews or writes them before you see them.
What this means for accuracy
AI models sometimes hallucinate, confabulate, or make mistakes. Klyo’s training on astrology texts and astrologer conversations gives it knowledge of real patterns in astrology, but it can also invent details that sound correct and are not. A response from Klyo should be checked against your own judgment, your birth chart, and the practice of a human astrologer you trust. Klyo is a tool for reflection, not authority.
Your data and the AI
Your birth data and conversations with Klyo are sent to Anthropic’s servers and processed by the Claude AI system. Your data is not fed back into model training. For the full picture, see the privacy policy.
Age
Klyo is for ages 13 and up. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to help you use Klyo. If you are under 18 and want to talk to someone about what Klyo says, a trusted adult can help. Klyo is not a therapist, doctor, or counselor, and should never replace those services.
